I did this for a really big fan of the movie Edward Scissorhands who has a sketchbook filled with characters from the movie, mostly just Edward.

I watched the movie for the first time and did the piece right afterwards. I wanted to try and capture the spirit of the movie so that a fan of the movie would like it.

The thing I am proudest of about the piece is the fact that it is just black ink on white paper, without any white out.

This is a beautiful piece! the composition is very well done, but the only thing I suggest is that the levels should be changed to make the black areas more black to contrast even better with the negative space, this can be done simply with photoshop.

I love this. It's absolutely amazing. Magnificent job. Extraordinary talent you have. I especially like the snow. I think you did capture the spirit of the movie quite perfectly in this simple, yet detailed piece. If I had even attempted this, it would of taken ten million stencils, black water color, and a can of white spray paint. And it still probably wouldn't of been as nice as this.

This somehow, has so much emotion in it.

Wow, this is just beautiful. I wish I could fave this 10,000 times because I love it that much. I especially love the attention to details such as her raising her foot out of the shoe and the different strands of hair. I wish I could get a big print of this in my room, for real! :D
